Cover options for your taxi

Cover options
There are three cover options
1. Comprehensive cover
2. Third Party, Fire & Theft
3. Third Party Only

The type of cover that applies to the vehicle will be shown in the certificate of insurance.

Comprehensive cover

If you have purchased ‘Comprehensive cover’ and it is shown in the certificate of insurance, then the
policy provides the following cover:

    Full insurance under ‘Section 1 – Loss to your vehicle’ and
    Full insurance under ‘Section 2 – Liability protection’

Third Party Fire & Theft

If you have purchased ‘Third Party Fire & Theft cover’ and it is shown in the certificate of insurance, then
the policy provides the following cover:

    Limited cover under ‘Section 1 - Loss to your vehicle’, only covering sudden and accidental physical loss
    to the vehicle caused by: fire, lightning, explosion, theft or illegal conversion (including attempted theft
    or illegal conversion), and full insurance under ‘Section 2 – Liability protection’

Third Party Only

If you have purchased ‘Third Party Only cover’ and it is shown in the certificate of insurance, then the
policy provides the following cover:

    Full insurance under ‘Section 2 – Liability protection’

What your vehicle will be used for

We will insure your vehicle only while it is being used:
 for professional business including hire, carriage of fare-paying passengers or farm purposes including
	 carriage of goods for farm purposes;
 for social, domestic and pleasure purposes;
 by religious, social welfare or youth organisation workers in the course of that work.

But excluding:

 use in connection with motor trades, any form of selling and / or collection, insurance assessing,
	 motor-driving instruction for reward, carriage of goods or samples in connection with any trade
	 or business, or a stock and station agency.

However, this exclusion does not apply to any vehicle which is shown in the certificate of insurance as
being covered for business use and for which we have received the appropriate business use premium.

User of the Vehicle

1.	

2.	a named driver, who is not leasing or renting the vehicle from you.
